Financial Wellness Coordinator

Luther College seeks an individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about personal finance and interested in helping emerging adults become financially well informed. The Financial Wellness Coordinator will join a dedicated team of professionals in the TRIO Achievement Program committed to advancing a community where students successfully navigate through, excel in, and graduate from college prepared for life. The coordinator will contribute to their overall well-being and academic persistence by providing counseling and education, which promotes basic financial literacy, wise financial behaviors and habits, and long-term financial health and security. Work schedule is mid-August through mid-May (.38 FTE) approximately 20 hours per week, including occasional evening work (typically no more than one night a week). Continuation of the position beyond the first year is contingent upon outcomes and federal grant funding. Bachelorís degree is required as well as demonstrated expertise for personal finance. Also required is a demonstrated ability to connect with diverse populations, such as college students who are historically under represented, first generation, and lower income.
