Administrative Assistant, Vice President for Communication and Marketing

Luther College seeks a full-time administrative assistant to provide support for the Vice President for Communications and Marketing and the departments that report to the vice president, including website, publications, public relations, photo and video bureau, sports information, and music marketing. Duties include; provide Administrative support for the Vice President; coordinate and assist in planning meetings, special events, and listening sessions; assist with creating and managing the work processes, meetings, and work plans of the Communications and Marketing team; write and edit communications and correspondence for internal and external audiences; provide monthly management of the budget. Qualified candidates must have Associate’s degree minimum with preference in a related field such as Communications, Marketing, or English, three to five years experience in positions with increasing levels of responsibility, excellent writing and communication skills, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as an ability to maintain a professional, competent, and friendly demeanor at all times.
